Vail Innovation Center
Letter from the Coordinator
August 11, 2020
Dear VIC Students/Families,
We are busy working on all of our enrollments and working as quickly as we can. We have all been working around the clock to get our new 440 students enrolled in classes and set up for success.
If you are still waiting on your login credentials for Edmentum, please be patient while we work through assigning classes, entering students in PowerSchool and Edmentum. You should hear from us soon.
While you and your student are waiting you can complete the 6-12 Grade Student Orientation.
Are you interested in a class or two with concurrent enrollment?
Students interested in taking a class or two with the VIC will need to start this process with their counselor at their school site. The counselor will fill out the Online Course Approval Form and it will send the acceptance emails to the following as a means of collecting signatures: parent, student, and school administration. Once all signatures have been captured the student will be added to the waiting list. Classes for concurrent students will be starting the week of 8/17/20 pending availability. (Concurrent enrollment is when a student is enrolled in more than one school at a time.)
For all other enrollment information needed, please visit our VIC webpage here.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Be Well,
Rachel Tankersley

Senior Exit Project (SEP) Information
Hello VIC Seniors,
Welcome to your Senior year. I know there are a lot of questions regarding your Senior Exit Project (SEP) and we are working on how you will accomplish this great program taking COVID-19 into consideration. As soon as we have a few issues worked out we will let you know. Until then please make sure you are staying on top of your classes and as always should you have any questions or issues please let me know.
We are attaching our SEP Handbook as a PDF for you to download, or the link to the SEP Handbook which is posted on our VIC Website under the 6-12 Resources. Keep in mind due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently working on modifications to the SEP and we will keep you updated.
